Vivo has officially unveiled its latest flagship foldable smartphones, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro and the Vivo X Fold 3. With their state-of-the-art technology and pioneering features, these devices are positioned to create waves in the fiercely competitive smartphone market.

According to the launch pricing in China, the basic variant of the X Fold 3, with a configuration of 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, is priced at CNY 6,999 (approximately Rs 80,677), while the highest configuration model, featuring 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, is priced at CNY 8,999 (around Rs 105,378). In contrast, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is available in two options: the 16GB RAM with 512GB storage version is priced at CNY 9,999 (approximately Rs 115,260), while the 16GB RAM with 1TB storage variant costs CNY 10,999 (approximately Rs 126,788).

The Vivo X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro showcase a sleek, durable design, featuring SGS Gold Label Five-Star Glass Drop Resistance, UTG super tough glass, and a carbon fibre ultra-durable lightweight hinge. Both models showcase an 8.03-inch AMOLED LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 4,500 nits peak brightness, and Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support for vivid visuals. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processors, the X Fold 3 houses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, while the X Fold 3 Pro features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, accompanied by up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS4.0 storage. Running on OriginOS 4 based on Android 14, they sport impressive camera setups, with the X Fold 3 sporting a 50MP OIS main camera and the X Fold 3 Pro featuring a 50MP Ultra Sensing OIS main camera and a 64MP 3x telephoto lens. Both devices include a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls. Battery capacities differ slightly, with the X Fold 3 equipped with a 5,500mAh battery supporting 80W flash charging, while the X Fold 3 Pro is provisioned with a 5,700mAh battery supporting 100W flash charging and 50W wireless flash charging. Connectivity options encompass dual 5G support, Bluetooth v5.3, WiFi-7, dual-SIM 5G capability, IR Blaster, and NFC, with advanced fingerprint recognition technology integrated into both devices, which features a 3D ultrasonic dual-screen fingerprint sensor on the X Fold 3 Pro and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the X Fold 3.

Of the two devices, the standard Vivo X Fold 3 is said to be scheduled for release in India within the next few weeks. However, the precise launch date has not been disclosed at this time.
